Glad to see this forum announced on Future Producers. I'm new to the Command Station (XL-7) and new to synths & drum machines in general.

I'm finding the "how to" of each machine has been getting in the way of just going out & making music, so I'm looking to forums like these to get the basic learning I need down so I can express myself. Electronic music, old school electro, etc. are big influences. Art of Noise, Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambaataa farao would be key influences.

Looking forward to learning & chatting.
