hello from me
hi,
I'm a brit dividing my time between the island and Germany. Have worked in computer games, run a record label but mainly earn my dollar by writing software. I'm just playing with the PX-7. My motivation was getting completely sick of using computer based sequencing. After 15 years of updates, unfixed bugs and incompatibilties enough was enough! I'm also using the yamaha RS7000 but so far the Emu seems to be winning. Quite blown away by the sounds and the quantize seems to be very musical.
I wil be getting some more roms or maybe another unit to tie together with this one, just at the stage of evaluating the effects to see whether it will be better to have a seperate unit with the extra effects too.
I'll post a couple of little questions in the appropriate place.
